I had a VERY nice lunch today........ V E R Y nice if you know what I mean * wink wink*.
So good that I think I'm not going to be so productive the rest of the day.

PJ love...

I snagged these awesome PJ's last week as well. I'm not usually a person who wears pajama's. Not sure why. But these are super light weight and so comfortable. I love the pattern so much I could almost wear this outside. Well, as a matter of fact, I met my new neighbors wearing this. I won't bore you with the details, but I did throw on a pair of jeans underneath so I wouldn't scare them away.

( now I feel the need to partly explain as to why I would do this. You see, we have been waiting to meet our new neighbors for months. *don't ask why we couldn't just go knock on the door* And in the winter, you really don't see anyone much. So this one morn'n my husband was outside watering the lawn and I guess he finally saw 'her' outside, so he introduced himself. And I was inside in my brandy new PJ's making breakfast and I thought ......I have to meet her now while I've got the chance. So I quickly grabbed a pair of jeans and brushed my hair so I didn't look like I totally rolled out of bed) , grabbed my lil girl and went to say Hi') .

PS... they seem like a completely lovely couple! yayyy for good neighbors!

I know!!! How beautiful are these lil calling cards from Anthropologie. These were from the Short Hills location, for their Stylist. Lovely!!

ANTHROPOLOGIE: Tea towels as art.........

Last week I also picked up a few tea towels. Some of these towels have such beautiful patterns, I thought I would see what they looked like if I framed them and used them as 'art'.

I think I like it.

YES, I went back for the green one. Thank god they only carry them in 3 colors, I obviously can't exhibit self control here.

I wore one to a party/BBQ last weekend and had an acquaintance tell me 'that bracelet is not you'! This is someone who barely knows me. It gave me a good laugh.

I really love this tee. It just looks like it has a great fit. I like the little ties on the sleeves and the banded waist. Very nice!

Finished painting

I figured I should post the 'finished' piece. I just realized how bad my lighting was when taking this and tried to fix that photo for viewing....but I'm not sure it worked.
Anyway...this is currently hanging in my kitchen. I try not to stare too closely, otherwise it never looks finished to me. You know how that is, right?

Pillows as pretty as a picture!

These are the forest and orchid photo-print pillows. The forest pillow is 40"x20" for $98. and the Orchid is a 16" square for $48. Very nice!

Remember these Fish Pond buffet plates? I posted about them a while ago. I bought these lovelies the other day while browsing around at lunch. Well, I was supposed to be browsing, but that's a joke right? They really are great plates...I think they are perfect for that backyard BBQ. And so reasonably priced at $6.00 each. A steal really.

It's almost that time........

to re-do my cubicle walls........with some new ANTHRO catalog pages. Even though we are supposed to be moving spaces soon. But 'soon' around here, could literally mean EONS!

I should take a picture of it when I'm done. That would be fun! Although, when my co-workers see flashes going off, they might think I've gone mad. They are IT guys, and just wouldn't understand. I'm sure you know what I mean. The only thing on their walls are VISIO network diagrams! ughh

It kind of makes me laugh when they come into my cubicle to ask some workflow question or talk about a project. Their eyes can't help but to be drawn to my walls full of color, the only color on a floor full of dull gray. And they ask, everytime!

"what is this? I don't get it. "

I used to try to explain, but I would get blank stares or a 'huh'. And then we would move on.

So now I just tell them it's ok, you don't need to understand it.

Anyway.........maybe I'll sneak in a pic without the flash. : )

A fellow Anthro fan emailed me looking for help finding the Hudson coat. Now I had to dig back to 2005 to remember what this coat looked like. And oh.....I remember, and wish I could have it too.... so beautiful!!!!

Does anyone know who makes it? If you can help, just leave a comment. We would love to track one down!

A gift for me.............wooo hoo!

So this weekend was wonderful for many reasons, including my husband’s BDay dinner celebration with friends and family, spending time painting in the backyard with my little girl! (she was using watercolor, me using acrylics).
But it was also great because I received the best gift ever and it wasn’t even my birthday…. A GIFT CARD for Anthropologie from some WONDERFUL FOLKS, THE BEST best BESTest. Who know who you are!!!! And I truly THANK YOU!!!! So can you imagine how happy I was!!!! I squealed and was jumping up and down, and my husband asked me to stop for fear I might break our tile floor. (should I be insulted, I mean the floor can hold a refrigerator, right?).
I already did some shopping this weekend, which was so much fun!! Because I couldn't wait a moment longer. And if more stores were open on Sunday, I would of been back. You couldn’t give me a better gift, really, I’m a happy, happy gal!!!!

I'm wearing my Anthro pants, top and this great bracelet today........I love it so much, I might go back to get a red one.......
