My Photo

An obsession, have to have it, definitely want to live there! A gal who spends way too many lunch hours at Anthropologie--browsing, making my wish list, inspired, charmed, teased, of course I have to leave with something.. anything! Ahhh..now I can go back to work, I've had my fix.

Formosa rug

The Formosa Rug
"From style guru Wenlan Chia's fertile imagination comes this whimsical tufted rug. Flying flocks, falling feathers, and leafy branches that reach up, up, up bring an airy quality to a rich black ground. By Twinkle Living."

Meet Anthropologie's New sister..

(photo: Elle)

Have you heard? Anthropologie has launched a brand new wholesale line, called Leifsdottir (which is a Scandinavian surname meaning "daughter of Leif"). Read more here and here

"Described as the sister of Anthropologie, Leifsdottir is designed to reveal layers of complexity, with unique trims, vintage buttons, ruffles, embroidery and dressmaker tailoring. Wholesale prices will range from $60 to $250 and higher for special pieces. The collection will bow in the fall. It reflects the sensibility of Anthropologie's design director, Johanna Uurasjarvi, a Finnish woman who oversees the retailer's in-house assortment, which up until now has been only for its own stores.Uurasjarvi said Leifsdottir clothes are designed to "give you butterflies the first time and every time that you see them. They will be treasured pieces that you wear again and again. It's soulful, keepsake clothing that can reach a broader audience than Anthropologie."

Got me some Apples for Jam

While shopping for a certain Valentines gift yesterday, I happen to be in close vicinity of Anthro.
So I couldn't just pass it by!! And am sooo glad I didn't. I found the book 'Apples for Jam' for half price. Mind you, I just ordered it from Barnes and Noble a few days earlier. So I'll just return that one.
I'm not even a huge cook, so it's ironic that I'm getting a cookbook. But I'm a sucker for a beautiful book!! And it's supposed to be simple (kids) so maybe it's perfect for me!!!!

cell snap + socks

Forgive my crummy cell phone shot... I wanted to get a picture of Anthro's super cute new window installation. But I also feel somewhat embarrassed taking photos.

Those little rock shapes are all made from different fabric scraps...............tons of them!

I forgot to mention the amazing knee socks I snagged. I just had to have them... black ones with little flowers on them and the cream knee highs with some design running up the leg. (can't find a picture of the black ones)

Happy Friday to you!!!

Broughton Blouse

You must see this top in person, it just looks so amazing! I saw it in the store today and I just stopped to feel it and I think *sighed* a bit loudly. I've got to have it!

"Wonderfully romantic, this creamy voile top is adorned with lace appliques along the waist, while bark-brown habotai sashes spill past the diagonal brass-button placket. By Lithe.
