I'm so glad it's Friday, how about you? Well, I have some Bday cash to spend so I think I'll have to visit Anthro on Saturday. Can't wait.

The Q&A article was in todays Star Ledger. I prefer the online version since you can read it in full. In the paper, they chop it in half, so you don't really get the full story, in my opinion.

But it was still fun to see!

I'll be doing some more celebrating this weekend! Looking forward to some good meals and fun times.

It finally feels like FALL today. I like it. I like wearing boots and now the weather is fitting.

Review: Prepster Knee socks

I mentioned that I picked up these adorable socks in the mushroom color. I just have to tell you how comfortable they are. It says they are a mix of Acrylic, nylon and wool. Well whatever they are made of, they feel super soft on your skin. And they stay up perfectly.

I think I have to get the chocolate ones too! I wish there were more colors, I would get them all.

Must have..........

These Dance Hall T-Straps are beautiful! I like the kittens heels and the floppy ties, just perfect.

I picked up this skirt today, but I haven't tried it on so I'm not sure if it's a keeper yet.

I really just got hooked on the silk ruffles!

Lovely things

I want to share a new piece I worked on this week.

It's a mixed media collage,

called 'LOVELY THINGS'

and is inspired by Anthro, as if you couldn't tell.

It includes pieces of the catalog, the dress is illustrated,

the words lovely are embroidered in.

The page is from Shakespeare's Cymbeline.

I had SO much fun with this one! I don't know if I want to give it up.

Friday... shopping.. and browsing

So I tried this on today at Anthro. It's the Early Fall Mini Trench and I really like it. But the one in store was way too big, I was lost in it. They have it online.....should I, should I? Black or Gray? can't decide.

It looks much better when you have it on, trust me.

Monday happenings

We were all ready to go shopping....mama in her Anthro skirt...lil chicky in a very similar cream colored dress..and her new shoes.... so off we went Lil chicky knew we were heading to mama's favorite store.... the weather was perfect, more like summer than fall....we arrived and parked right in front.........I couldn't resist a window shot, the birdhouses and trees were so nice...... I bought this cute tee and the beloved prepster socks!!!
I took this shot*discreetly* as I strolled through Anthro. I still swoon everytime I see these gorgeous Flavia Del Pra lamps!!! I really need to have that Pink one!!! But I restrained myself....

lil chicky got a new turtle friend she calls Tooti



We headed out for a nice lunch...just mama & daughter.. came back home and lil chicky took at nap, along with Tooti, they were very tired from walking.

It is a HAPPY MONDAY when I'm not working.
