An obsession, have to have it, definitely want to live there! A gal who spends way too many lunch hours at Anthropologie--browsing, making my wish list, inspired, charmed, teased, of course I have to leave with something.. anything! Ahhh..now I can go back to work, I've had my fix.

Richard Hayne, President of Urban Outfitters (nytimes.com)
"Spending upward of $50 million to renovate four historic buildings, which are to be completed this summer, Urban Outfitters chose the Navy Yard because it passed the dog test, the company president, Richard A. Hayne, said.
"We have a number of people who wanted to bring their dogs to work," Mr. Hayne said. "So when we first started looking at high-rise buildings downtown, even if dogs were allowed, which they weren't, I thought, 'Where would they walk them?' "

Worth a 2nd mention.. 'Rockefeller opening'
'
A decorative arts gallery has opened in a new Anthropologie store at Rockefeller Plaza. The director is Keith Johnson, who buys furniture and antiques for the Anthropologie chain. The opening exhibition, "Lost & Found," features traditional museum domes reinterpreted by Serge Rosenzweig, a French artist ($1,800 each). Inside the domes are floral arrangements made of found objects and materials like 18th-century paper and miniature cake molds, above.
The gallery exhibitions will change every six to eight weeks. The store and gallery are at 50 Rockefeller Plaza (50th Street, near Fifth Avenue), (212) 246-0386. MARIANNE ROHRLICH'

Pardon the financial blurb
'Urban Outfitters -Tough Fit'
Urban Outfitters' (Nasdaq: URBN) fashion issues have become a two-part series, given Thursday's first-quarter earnings release, which follows on the heels of its sales report last week. Once again, the question is whether the worst is over when it comes to the retailer's recent fashion stumble.

Shorts as office wear....... are you sure?
I was reading this article in the NY times about 'wearing short pants as office wear'. And how it's the in thing , blah blah blah.
(NY times.com)
Although I must admit, I do LOVE the look. I don't know if I could get away with it at the office.
But I sure as hell am going to try!!! Why not! (As soon as I get my self tanner just right)
